Program Information

Our Transformative Coaching Community is a month-long training and group coaching program designed to empower in-house counsel to advance in their careers, including those aiming to become world-class General Counsel. This program provides professional development training, group coaching, and a peer network of like-minded professionals.

The program is based on our 8 Essentials for Inside Counsel Mastery framework, covering leadership, strategic thinking, decision-making, and more specifically tailored for in-house roles. You’ll gain practical skills and insights directly applicable to your current position and future advancement.

The program is ideal for in-house lawyers at all levels seeking to reach their full potential who want a career-focused, community-oriented approach to development. If you’re looking for more than just legal skills and seek leadership development tailored to in-house counsel, this program is for you.

Yes. We facilitate in-person workshops for legal teams, partnering with General Counsels to offer seamless professional development solutions integrated into team retreats.

Our Transformative Coaching Community equips in-house lawyers with skills and insights that will lead to upward mobility and higher compensation.  The investment to participate is $3,500.

Community and Support

You’ll be part of a supportive network of peers who understand the unique demands of in-house roles. Through our online platform, you’ll participate in content and group coaching sessions, and access exclusive community resources to help you build lasting professional connections.

Inside Counsel Academy is exclusively for in-house legal professionals led by Joe Schohl, a seasoned General Counsel with over 30 years’ experience across both public and private companies. Our community is highly focused, offering support and insights specific to your career path and challenges as an in-house counsel, making it an ideal environment for growth and networking.

Scheduling and Commitment

The program is designed to optimize your efficiency, featuring 8 one-hour group content and coaching sessions spread across a month-long period. By applying the principles discussed in the program, we’re confident your net time investment will be positive — saving you more time in your work than you spend with us.

Generally, yes. The content and training portions of the sessions will be recorded and made available for you to review during your membership. There may be times where something sensitive is being discussed where a participant requests a pause in the recording.

Technical Requirements

Our program operates primarily on a web-based platform compatible with most devices. You’ll also need a stable internet connection for live sessions and access to email for program updates.

General Policies

We offer a full refund if, after attending the first program session, you decide the program isn’t a good fit. Simply contact us in advance of the second session to initiate a refund.

Membership is not transferable, ensuring that all members receive an exclusive and personalized experience.
